STARTING SHEET TRIALS
To be trialled initially on 17th July and 21st August Competitions
1.) Registering for tee times can take place from 6.00p.m on a Friday evening 8 days prior to the Saturday competition, where the sheets apply.
2.) At 6.00p.m a numerical list will be opened for players to register interest. At 7.00p.m names on this numbered list will be randomly chosen. One person can only enter 2 other persons in a 3 Ball (4 Ball when applicable) All names must be recorded.
3.) The Start sheet will run from 6.30a.m to 4.00p.m.
4.) After 4.00p.m the ball tube will come into operation.
5.) Members may cancel tee times but must give at least 24 hours notice, advice to the secretary/pro shop/clubhouse. It is the players’ responsibility to advise any playing partners of start times and cancellations.
6.) Members who do not turn up on the day of the competition and have not given advance notice will be required to pay entry fee and will be banned from the next two competitions.
7.) Players who turn up late will be subject to the sanctions in the rules of golf. Rule 6.3 is disqualification but leeway is allowed up to 5 minutes late but a two shot penalty applies for the player who is late.
8.) Score cards will be monitored on the Tuesday following the competition and non attendees will be written to advising them of the two competition ban.
9.) Full Lady members and anyone wishing to play but not in the competition will still require a start time.
10.) The sheet to be maintained in lounge.
11.) Starting at the 10th will not be allowed when starting sheets are in use.
12.) Once the starting sheet is complete alterations can only be made via secretary or members of the competitions committee.
13.) Payment method for competition will be in the normal manner.
14.) The Captain will always have first choice.
